The European Literacy Conference 2016

Thursday, January 21, 2016 (All day) - Friday, January 22, 2016 (All day)

The 2016 European Literacy Conference, which will take place in Amsterdam from 21-22 January 2016.

The goal of the ELINET - European Literacy Conference is to shift the focus from idea generation to idea execution – providing reliable and innovative insights on how to improve literacy in Europe. We will introduce all results, findings and tools developed in the past two years, while giving the floor to prominent speakers and giving answers to larger questions in the literacy field.

Participants will be able to choose from a breadth of interactive and practical workshops, learning about new tools and acquiring knowledge to implement in their field of practice.

Here’s a sneak peak of what you can expect:

  • First-hand access to brand new research, tools, and insights in all areas of literacy and across all age groups, crafted by a two-year collaboration between 28 countries.
  • Problem-solving workshops teaching you new tools and how to use them
  • A highly engaging audience with international experts from literally every literacy field
  • Inspirational talks and first steps in shaping future literacy policies

We want to empower you to successfully advance your literacy causes.  Join us for a truly groundbreaking milestone in the literacy field!

The conference is being organised by ELINET members Stichting Lezen, Stichting Lezen & Schrijven, and the University of Cologne.
