The European Commission (DG JRC-IPTS &DG EAC) is inviting all stakeholders in the field of ICT and Education to develop, on 1-5 pages, imaginary visions on Open Education 2030. These papers will contribute to guiding European policy makers in shaping and focusing the upcoming Open Education Initiative. All papers will be published online and the authors of the five most ingenious papers will be invited to a foresight workshop in Seville.

KeyCoNet is the European Policy Network on Key Competences in School Education, funded under the European Commission’s Lifelong Learning Programme. The aim of this newsletter (available in English, French, Portuguese and Spanish) aims to keep readers up to date with the network’s news, activities and outputs.

KeyCoNet News is published three times a year and will cover regular updates on the network’s activities, website and events, as well as incorporate EU and national news in this area, and dedicate a special focus on a specific aspect of key competence development.

The European Parents Association (EPA) is a new partner for the 2nd period of EPNoSL.
EPA - the European Parents' Association - was founded in April 1985 in Milan Italy to establish an association of parents and families from all over Europe. The needs and interests of parents have been the focus of EPA activities since then.  
As one of the main concerns of parents is the child's education, permanent work was tributed to this field.

On June 27th – 29th, 2012 the European Policy Network on School Leadership organised its second peer learning event this time focusing on Structuring and Culturing Schools for Comprehensive Learning. This event took place in Berlin.

The video recordings of the keynotes and plenary presentations are now available on this portal.

The Executive Board, management, staff, students and alumni of the NSO (Netherlands School for Education Management) remember with great respect the man who until recently was their director.
